ST. LOUIS – tED magazine, the official publication of the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED), announces today the re-launch of tEDTV, tedtv.tedmag.com, which will offer a library of product, technology and company  videos for the industry.

According to Scott Costa, tED magazine publisher, “Not only will tEDTV will bring our members the latest videos from NAED and tED magazine, it also provides our members with a new avenue to reach their audience when they submit their videos.”

The tEDTV website features include:

  • User-friendly design for all audiences – contractors, distributors, and manufacturers
  • Easy-to-use search function
  • A larger playback screen to make videos easier to view
  • View the latest videos from throughout the industry on the home page
  • No cost to load an unlimited number of videos

tED magazine is excited about the re-launch of tEDTV as another step toward bringing the entire supply chain together,” Costa said. “We have already started to attract distributors and contractors to the videos that will help this industry work better, faster, smarter and at a lower cost.”

tEDTV focuses only on electrical distribution and connects related videos so users can easily find more information on a product or company.

“Manufacturers need to make tEDTV a part of every new product launch,” Costa adds. “By uploading videos onto tEDTV, they can showcase new products, explain how they work and provide sales strategies for distributors. Distributors can use tEDTV to get the word out to contractors about the people, products and services they provide every day.”

Circulated to more than 25, 000 readers throughout the electrical distribution industry, the award-winning tED magazine serves as the industry’s primary source for trends, best practices, and news happening throughout the electrical supply chain. In addition to its monthly print edition, tED produces up-to-the minute news through tEDmag.com, four weekly e-newsletters, and its LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter channels.

NAED is the trade association for the $70+ billion electrical distribution industry. Through networking, education, research, and benchmarking, NAED helps electrical distributors increase profitability and improve the channel. NAED’s membership operates in nearly 5,100 locations internationally.
