tED Magazine Taking Nominations for 2019 “30 Under 35”

tED magazine has begun accepting nominations for the 2019 “30 Under 35,” which highlights the best and brightest members of the National Association of Electrical Distributors. This year, nominations will be accepted until April 5, 2019. The 30 winners will be honored at this year’s NAED LEAD Conference, July 17-19 at the Kimpton Aertson Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee.

Each year, tED magazine asks distributor, manufacturer, and allied service partner members of NAED to nominate a co-worker they believe has already made an impact on their company and the industry both inside and outside of work. Nearly all of the past “30 Under 35” honorees have been promoted multiple times, have completed and continue to work on NAED or outside education courses, continue to do community service work, and help create a culture of success in their workplace. Honorees will be featured in the cover story of the July issue of tED magazine and each will be featured individually throughout the year on tedmag.com. Nominations are free, and you can nominate as many employees as you feel deserve the award.

To date, 210 people have been awarded a tED magazine “30 Under 35”.  When you consider there are about 180,000 individual members of the National Association of Electrical Distributors, you realize this is an exclusive group of highly qualified people.

This year, the NAED LEAD Conference is working with tED magazine to build on the awards and help create a multiple step program aimed and educating and creating a stronger workforce.  Speakers at the LEAD Conference will not only inspire, but teach attendees who to become managers and leaders for the future by providing the necessary tools for long term success. Coupled with NAED education courses and opportunities for growth, the LEAD Conference will help member companies train their future upper management people.  Companies are encouraged to send any employees they believe have long-term management potential to this year’s LEAD Conference.
