The Good Stuff, Vol. 151

Welcome to “The Good Stuff,” where we highlight positive news and ways that NAED employees and member companies go above and beyond to give back to their communities! If you have some “Good Stuff” that you would like to share with tED, find out how below.

In this issue of “The Good Stuff,” Parrish-Hare, an electrical distributor committed to community engagement and giving back, announced a strategic partnership with Operation Kindness Humane Society, one of Texas’s oldest and largest animal welfare organizations dedicated to providing lifesaving care and resources to pets and the people who love them.

The collaboration will support Operation Kindness Humane Society’s mission to create a kinder world for pets and the people who love them by contributing funding, volunteer resources, and community outreach support to expand lifesaving services, adoption opportunities, and wellness programs throughout the North Texas region.

“Parrish-Hare is proud to stand alongside Operation Kindness Humane Society in support of animal welfare,” said Teresa Fisher, Sales Support Manager, Parrish-Hare. “We believe in strengthening the communities where we live and work, and this partnership allows us to help ensure that more dogs and cats in North Texas receive the care, shelter, and loving homes they deserve.”

Operation Kindness has provided lifesaving care, including adoption services, veterinary support, foster programs, affordable community spay/neuter services, and a pet food pantry, to hundreds of thousands of animals since its founding in 1976.

“We are incredibly grateful for the support of organizations like Parrish-Hare,” said Ed Jamison, CEO of Operation Kindness Humane Society. “Their commitment to community service will help us save more lives, deepen our impact, and bring hope and compassion to pets and families across North Texas.”

As part of the partnership, Parrish-Hare associates will have the opportunity to participate in volunteer events at Operation Kindness Humane Society’s Carrollton shelter and adoption centers, contribute to ongoing fundraising campaigns, and help amplify awareness of critical animal welfare services throughout the region.

“Operation Kindness Humane Society has a remarkable legacy of service and compassion,” added Greg Johnson, General Manager, Parrish-Hare. “We’re honored to support their mission and work alongside them to make tangible, positive change in our community.”

The partnership underscores Parrish-Hare and Operation Kindness Humane Society’s shared belief that community collaboration drives meaningful impact, ensuring animals in need receive care, compassion, and opportunities for loving homes.
