Welcome to “The Good Stuff”, where we highlight positive news and ways that employees of NAED-member companies go above and beyond to give back to their communities! If you have some “Good Stuff” that you would like to share with tED magazine, find out how below.
In this issue, we’re looking at Turtle & Hughes.
Veterans Day: Home is Where We Take Comfort From the World
This year, we are honoring our veterans by expanding our partnership with the Gary Sinise Foundation.
In addition to our annual financial support of the R.I.S.E. program (Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment), we are donating all of the lighting controls for specially-adapted smart homes for two very deserving heroes and their families. Built from the ground up with their individual needs in mind, these homes will provide a safe haven to reclaim their independence.
The Gary Sinise Foundation serves our nation by honoring our defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need by creating and supporting unique programs designed to entertain, educate, inspire, strengthen, and build communities. We are privileged to support their important mission and thank all of our heroes for their service to country.
