GEORGIA — Recently, three City Electric Supply (CES) stores in Southeast Georgia celebrated 25 years of service. Hundreds of customers came out to support the branches they have worked with and reflected on the relationships they’ve built throughout the years.

“CES can supply us with the items we need daily to continue our jobs on schedule,” said Jimmy LuCree, owner of R&L Electric Inc. “St. Mary’s has good staff who are more than willing to help us with whatever we need. It’s my favorite thing about doing business with CES.”

“CES St. Mary’s is very close-knit when working with our customers. Our team cares about them, and we want to help our customers succeed,” said Branch Manager Chris Thigpin. “Our team is here to help relieve them of any stress for their jobsites.”

The anniversaries were special moments for CES team members. Many work in the same areas they grew up in.

CES Brunswick, Ga.

“I enjoy getting to work in my hometown. I know all the people that come in the store every day,” said CES Brunswick Outside Sales Representative Jeremiah Arwood. “Getting to help my community grow is really special to me.”

“I’ve been a customer at CES Brunswick now for over four years, and it’s always a pleasure to work with the people at this location,” said Luke Strayer, Owner of Strayer Electric. “Everyone is friendly, and it’s a great place to shop overall.”

District Manager Brian Edney was able to reflect on his journey with the company.

“I started at CES 23 years ago right out of high school at the St. Mary’s location as a driver. I moved to the Brunswick location and continued to work my way up through branch positions,” said District Manager Brian Edney. “I was 20 years old when I started with the company, and there’s a lot of opportunity here. I worked my way to the position I’m in now, and I want others to share in that.”

With so many things to look forward to at the anniversaries, including raffle prizes, product demos, and delicious food, everyone agrees- the best part was getting to show thanking customers for doing business with the branches.

CES Waycross, Ga.

“The fellowship of having everyone together was the best part of the anniversary. Being able to show appreciation for our customers was great. Without them, we wouldn’t be here,” said CES Waycross Branch Manager Wesley Simpson. “Our team wants to keep growing this business, and we look forward to serving CES customers.”

“The anniversaries speak a lot to the success of the company and the success of the team members who work here,” said CES Brunswick Branch Manager Brent Justice. “Our team looks forward to continuing to grow as a branch.”
