CED Acquires Parrish-Hare Electrical Supply
Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED) has informed tED magazine that it has acquired Texas-based Parrish-Hare Electrical Supply.
Joe Huffman, Vice-President of Supplier Relations for CED, sent the following e-mail to tED magazine to announce the deal:
We are pleased to announce that CED has acquired certain assets of Parrish-Hare Electrical Supply located in Irving, Texas. Parrish-Hare’s four locations (Irving, Haltom City, Midlothian, and Ennis), which operate under the names of Parrish-Hare and Power-House, will operate as a separate subsidiary of CED under the continued leadership of Parrish-Hare founder Pat Hare and his team.
Parrish-Hare announced on its website last Thursday that all four of its locations would be closed for “inventory purposes”.
According to the website, Parrish-Hare opened nearly 40 years ago as a distributor for commercial and industrial construction. “Back then, Don Parrish and Pat Hare formed a partnership that examined every meticulous detail of their business, and offered first-class, empathetic customer service. Because of this attention to detail putting our customers first, we have experienced 40 years of continuous growth,” the website states. It adds that Parrish-Hare provides engineering services, lighting solutions, warehousing and logistics, and wire-cutting services.
While headquartered in Texas, CED has more than 700 locations and has been in business for more than 60 years.
