WILMINGTON, Del. — United Electric Supply (United) announced several leadership transitions as part of its ongoing commitment to developing talent, supporting succession planning, and driving growth across its markets.
Jim Blank, Vice President of Sales, Chesapeake Region
Jim brings more than 20 years of experience in sales leadership, operations, business development, and customer service within the electrical distribution and industrial markets.
Throughout his career, Jim has successfully led teams, developed customer-focused growth strategies, and expanded business opportunities across multiple markets. As part of the United Leadership team, he will oversee the sales and product group teams in United’s Chesapeake Region, manage market growth initiatives and support employee-owner development.
“Jim brings valuable experience, strong leadership skills, and a shared commitment to our values,” said Tony Buonocore, President & CEO, United Electric Supply. “His proven ability to lead teams, execute growth strategies, and deliver results makes him a valuable addition to our leadership team.”
Jason Kyle, District Sales Manager, Delmarva District
Jason joined United in 2022 as Branch Manager in Salisbury, MD, with more than 20 years of electrical distribution experience spanning operations and sales leadership. He quickly made an impact through his leadership of the Salisbury branch and has expanded his role by working closely with the territory sales team to strengthen sales efforts and pursue growth opportunities across the district.
As District Sales Manager, Jason will lead sales and regional growth initiatives throughout the Delmarva District, with a focus on developing opportunities aligned with United’s growth strategy, while retaining leadership of the Salisbury branch.
Tim Hopkins, Branch Manager, Dover, Delaware
Since joining United in 2019 as a warehouse associate, Tim has made himself the obvious choice for a variety of promotions, including Counter Sales Associate and Counter Service Manager, where he demonstrated strong leadership and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
In his new role, Tim will oversee day-to-day operations of the Dover Branch, including customer service, sales, employee development, safety, and operational excellence. His focus on customer experience and deep knowledge of sales and operations positioned him well to be successful in leading this important location.
“Jason and Tim are part of our succession plan in the Delmarva District and have built strong careers at United,” said Buonocore. “They consistently demonstrate the leadership qualities, work ethic, and commitment to our values that we look for in future leaders.”
