United Electric Supply Named Top Workplace

WILMINGTON, Del. – United Electric Supply has been recognized as a 2024 Top Workplace by The Philadelphia Inquirer. This is the company’s second time receiving the recognition from the Philadelphia Inquirer, the first taking place in 2021. United Electric Supply has also been recognized as a Top Workplace by The Delaware News Journal and Baltimore Sun in previous years.

The recognition is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey. The anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 drivers of engaged cultures that are critical to the success of any organization, including alignment, execution, and connection.

“Winning the Top Workplaces recognition is an honor,” said Lindsey Cropper, Vice President of Human Resources, United Electric Supply. “The leadership and HR teams work closely together to continuously enhance employee engagement and company culture.”

“Our ESOP and employee-owners are the foundation of our success,” said George Vorwick, President & CEO United Electric Supply. “Our focus on culture and creating an environment where everyone, through our Life-Long Learning initiative, can invest in themselves to create personal wealth is critical to our value proposition.”

As a seven-time recipient of a Top Workplaces Award, United Electric Supply takes pride in being the supplier of choice for electrical products, services, and solutions with a commitment to independent employee ownership. United Electric has a history of focusing on culture, promoting teamwork and individual responsibility while encouraging lifelong learning to develop talent from within and provide their employee-owners a rewarding career path.
