NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Universal Lighting Technologies recently recognized its agents of the year at the National Electrical Manufacturers Representatives Association (NEMRA) conference. Agents receiving acknowledgment included the Alabama division of UES, Callas Kingsley of Chicago, Hawkins Sales in Ohio and Gemco of Pittsburgh.
“We’re honored to have such outstanding agents selling Universal Lighting products,” said Marty Pint, vice president of distribution for Universal. “Our top agents demonstrated both market and sales growth in 2014. Acknowledging their achievements at the NEMRA conference was the least we could do to express our appreciation for their hard work on behalf of our company.”
George Callas, Jim Kingsley and Dave Alonzo accepted the award for Callas Kingsley; Will Hawkins accepted the award for Hawkins Sales; and Jay Hample and Willis Milner accepted the award on behalf of the Alabama division of UES. Although not present at the event, John Lype with Gemco was also recognized as the company demonstrating the highest rate of growth in sales and market share for the year.
NEMRA promotes and enhances the value of the independent representative to the electrical industry. The association strives to become the global leader in promoting and developing independent representatives as an indispensable channel to market for the electrical industry.
