CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Van Meter Inc. announced that Scott Bjerketvedt, an experienced finance and accounting executive, has joined the company’s leadership team as Chief Financial Officer.
Bjerketvedt brings to the role more than 20 years of experience in P&L management, financial planning and analysis, acquisitions and integrations, business modeling, treasury and more.
Before joining Van Meter, Bjerketvedt served in various financial leadership roles at companies including Ceridian, St. Jude Medical, Inc., Medtronic, PLC, and Boortmalt. Most recently, he served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Ecumen, one of the United States’ largest and oldest non-profit senior housing and services companies.

Bjerketvedt will be based out of Van Meter’s Cottage Grove, Minnesota, location. He is assuming the responsibilities of Chief Financial Officer from Nate Jensema, who is transitioning to Chief Operating Officer for the company.
Bjerketvedt earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Accounting from The University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and three daughters, attending concerts, and skiing.
