Fran Doris, former CEO of Mars Electric, passed away on August 15th. The company issued a statement:
We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Fran E. Doris, former CEO of Mars Electric and a beloved member of our extended family.
Fran was a visionary leader, a passionate community advocate, and above all, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Her legacy is one of love, service, and unwavering dedication. As President of the National Council of Jewish Women and a board member of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland, Fran’s impact reached far beyond the workplace. She led with compassion and integrity, inspiring all who had the privilege to know her.
Fran’s memory will live on through her family—her husband Mark, her sons Michael and Andrew, her grandchildren Max, Archie, Reid, Aria, and Shai—and through the countless lives she touched in our community.
We extend our deepest condolences to the Doris family and honor Fran’s remarkable life and legacy.

In lieu of flowers, friends who wish to honor Fran’s memory may contribute to the National Council of Jewish Women/Cleveland Section or the University Hospital, Neurological Institute.
