DULUTH, Minn. — Viking Electric hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony on February 28 to celebrate the completion of its new business location in Duluth. The new facility is located in Duluth’s West End and the address is 15 South 38th Avenue West, Duluth, Minnesota 55807.
The new location includes a two-story, 36,962-square-foot facility. The first-floor is more than 29,600 square feet and includes a city desk, showroom, reception area, and warehouse. The warehouse includes a 28-foot ceiling clearance, two receiving dock doors, and five shipping docks. In addition, there is one large overhead door in the rear of the building for larger deliveries and one small overhead door in the front for customer load-out. The second floor includes 7,344 square feet of office space and an area for future expansion.
Greg Irvine will remain the General Manager of the new facility. “Viking Electric is proud to have completed construction on a new building in a new location,” Irvine said. “We are thrilled about the prospects of operating out of a larger facility, which will allow Viking Electric to grow, expand our services, and better serve our customers in Northern Minnesota.”
