CINCINNATI, Ohio — Honoring the Life and Legacy of Stuart Buchanan
On October 19, 2025, Cincinnati lost a quiet giant of the electrical industry — Stuart Buchanan — a father, influential sales leader, and passionate entrepreneur whose legacy built more than a business; it helped power a region.
From his first job sweating in Kentucky’s tobacco fields at the age of 15, Stuart outworked the poverty he was born into with grit, persistence, and determination — and never looked back. That same relentless spirit carried him into the heart of the electrical industry, where he spent more than 50 years as a conduit for progress that helped build the region and the nation from the post-WWII era through the new century.
Stuart Buchanan began his career with Graybar Electric, later joined Arthur Ehlers Company, and eventually ventured out on his own.
