MANKATO, Minn. — Electrical distributor and services provider Viking Electric announced it is relocating its existing location in Mankato, Minnesota, to a larger, nearby facility. The company’s new address in Mankato is 2425 3rd Avenue, Mankato, MN 56001, which is two blocks east of the company’s current location in Mankato.
Viking Electric plans to close the existing Mankato location at 3:00 PM on Friday, July 31, 2026, and begin operating out of the new Mankato facility at 6:30 AM on Monday, August 3, 2026. The company’s hours of operation will remain the same at the new location.
The larger Mankato facility nearly doubles the footprint of the company’s existing location, expanding from 20,000 square feet to more than 36,000 square feet, including:
- 27,500 sq. ft. warehouse (up from 15,900)
- 6,300 sq. ft. office space (up from 2,800)
- 2,300 sq. ft. counter space (up from 1,300)
The new location features four delivery route doors, two dedicated shipping and receiving doors, and an at-grade vehicle door in the front—conveniently located next to Will Call—to protect customers from the elements as they load and unload. With 50+ parking spaces, the new layout provides customers and associates the room they need to operate more efficiently.
