Viking Electric Moves to New Location in Chicago

CHICAGO, Ill. – Viking Electric, A Sonepar Company, announced today that the company will close the doors at its former Brook Electrical Supply location at 1958 West Street in Chicago and move to a larger facility at 1925 West Fulton Street in Downtown Chicago. Viking Electric will begin operating at the new Fulton Street location on Monday, June 8, 2020.

Mike Huitsing will continue as the Sales Operations Manager at the new Viking Electric location in Downtown Chicago. “We are proud to move into a larger facility, in a new location,” Huitsing said. “The move will allow us to grow with our associates and customers in the Chicago market,” he said.

The new Viking Electric address includes a 17,000-square-foot facility with a 1,700-square-foot city desk showroom and 1,700 square feet of office space. The warehouse occupies the remaining 13,600 square feet, and includes two dock doors and one overhead drive-in door for larger deliveries. The company noted that the new location also includes off-street parking for its customers.

All three of Viking Electric’s Chicago area locations are being managed by Terry Reister, Viking Electric’s Director of Business Operations – Chicago. “The move to a larger facility will allow Viking Electric to provide quality electrical products and top-notch service offerings to our customers in Chicago,” Reister said. “It is our vision to be the indispensable electrical supply chain partner central to our customers’ success,” he said.
