Viking Electric Names New General Manager

LA CROSSE, Wisc. — Electrical distributor and services provider, Viking Electric, announced that the company has promoted Kim Arentz to General Manager of its La Crosse, Wis. location.

Arentz has held a variety of positions at Viking Electric, most recently as a Project Manager on the La Crosse project team. She brings 22 years of industry experience to her new role, along with solid working relationships with Viking Electric associates, customers, suppliers, and industry professionals alike. Arentz started at Viking Electric in 2005 and is one of the founding members of VikingElectric’s internal women’s resource group; women advocating today for tomorrow (WATT).

In her new role, Arentz will use her knowledge of the La Crosse market and customer relationships to drive profitable growth and increased market share in Southwestern Wisconsin.

“Kim’s 17-year career at Viking Electric will serve us well as we continue to grow our company’s market share in, and around, the La Crosse area,” Viking Electric VP of Sales Brett Wilson said. “We will rely on her experience and leadership to position Viking Electric as an indispensable electrical supply chain partner central to our customers’ success.”
