MINNEAPOLIS — Electrical distributor and services provider, Viking Electric, announced that the company has promoted Dean Dobitz to the position of Vice President of Sales. Dean brings 27 years of industry experience to the Viking Electric leadership team, as well as solid working relationships with the company’s associates, customers, and suppliers alike.
Dean’s experience at Viking Electric includes seven years as the company’s Twin Cities Industrial Sales Manager. Most recently, Dean served as Vice President of Industrial Sales, where he led the company’s industrial sales organization, which experienced significant sales growth under his leadership. In Dean’s new role, he will have responsibility for the entire sales organization as the company restructures the Viking Electric sales team.
“Dean has had a long career in the electrical distribution industry – with increasing leadership responsibilities and a customer-centric mindset,” Viking Electric President Stacy Stanslaski said. “He has established strong credibility in the industrial market and will use that experience to lead sales growth across Viking Electric’s industrial and contractor markets in Minnesota and Wisconsin.”
