Warshauer Announces New Green Energy Division

TINTON FALLS, N.J. — Warshauer Electric Supply announced the formation of Warshauer’s Green Energy Division. Warshauer Green Energy will focus on all green technologies and energy-saving initiatives.

Warshauer Energy Solutions will officially roll up under the Warshauer Green Energy Division, with Gene Fey still leading the charge on Solar Energy and associated balance system sales. Jason Gumbaz, formerly of JAG Electric, joins the team as the new Director of Green Technology. A licensed electrical contractor since 2007, Gumbaz has worked over 23 years honing his skills in the electrical industry and has shifted his primary focus to EV and other green technologies. Gumbaz’s experience led him to the design and installation of various electric vehicle charging systems throughout the state of New Jersey. Gumbaz is also a certified instructor and will be teaching the Basics of Electric Vehicle Charging Systems CEU classes in Parsippany, Lakewood, and New Brunswick, New Jersey during Warshauer’s March W-Tech schedule.

The Green Energy Division will be responsible for the design and sales of EV charging systems and will provide turn-key opportunities for our existing client base.

“Although the term ‘value add’ is overused in this industry, Warshauer strives every day to be the preferred supplier to the electrical industry; beyond just pushing brown boxes. We have long been known for our knowledgeable sales professionals. The switchgear and commercial lighting departments have several years of experience along with a proven track record for being industry leaders. Our residential/light commercial Lighting Design Center is the go-to place for electricians, interior designers and architects, as well as true market leaders in custom homes, restaurants and boutique shops. Before New Jersey became one of the largest solar producers in the United States, we formed our Solar Energy Solutions group. When Hurricanes Irene and Sandy hit in back-to-back years, our Generator Sales/Service/Rental groups were ready to power up those in need. Now, with gas prices skyrocketing and every major auto manufacturer making huge commitments to electric vehicles, our crystal ball has guided us to strategize and plan for the launch of our new Green Energy Division. This new sector will encompass our Solar Group, our Lighting Energy Specialists and our new Director of Green Technologies, giving Warshauer more value add under one roof than any other wholesaler in the country – not to mention our NJ State approved electrical CEU’s and our NJ Department of Labor approved Warshauer Trade school!” – Jim Dunn, EVP, Warshauer Electric Supply
