TINTON FALLS, N.J. — Warshauer Electric Supply has been awarded a U.S. Government General Services Administration Multiple Award Schedule Contract. The five year contract (#GS07F179CA), which has three additional five year options, is for SIN # 383-2, which includes all types of generators (portable, standby, backup or prime). Warshauer was also awarded a second contract under SIN #383-10 for portable light towers.
Jim Dunn, Executive Vice President, commented that, “having a GSA contract further expands our reach into the NJ marketplace and beyond. In addition to our 4,000+ electrical contractor customers, Warshauer now has the ability to not only sell to US Government facilities and military bases, but also to NJ state run entities, as NJ State procurement laws allow NJ State agencies, municipalities and boards of education to purchase under active GSA contracts. We will be the only GSA contract holder in the State of NJ with the ability to service everything we sell which should bring us unique opportunities over the next 20 years with both the United States Government and the State of NJ.”
