COTTAGE GROVE, Minn.—Werner Electric and DS Electric Supply announced on Friday, November 13 that they have entered into an agreement for Werner Electric to purchase all DS Electric Supply’s Rockwell APR and inventory. DS Electric Supply currently services areas in the following counties; parts of Crawford, La Crosse, Monroe, Richland, and Vernon. The transaction closed by end of business day Friday, November 13 and Werner Electric took over responsibility for the Rockwell APR on Monday, November 16. DS Electric Supply will continue to service their customers in the La Crosse and Eau Claire territories with their other electrical product lines.
“Werner Electric has been a Rockwell Automation distributor for over 80 years. Our acquisition of this Rockwell territory shows Werner’s commitment to growing our industrial footprint, company geography, and investing in the La Crosse market,” stated Ben Granley, Werner Electric President.
The acquisition of DS Electric’s Rockwell APR and inventory will expand Werner’s presence in the La Crosse market. Werner Electric is headquartered in Cottage Grove, Minn. with branches in Eau Claire, Wisc., and La Crescent, Mankato, Owatonna, Rochester, and Saint Cloud Minn.
