Werner Electric Heads North to Duluth

COTTAGE GROVE, Minn. — The team at Werner Electric can’t think of a better way to celebrate its 100th anniversary than by bringing its big thinking and local support to the North Shore. Werner Electric is excited to serve the electrical supply, lighting, and clean energy needs of the greater Duluth and Superior communities with a new branch opening April 27, 2020.

Werner President, Ben Granley stated, “Opening in Duluth is a strategic addition to our existing seven branches. This allows us to effectively serve all of Minnesota and western Wisconsin with a local team of experts and the commitment to an exceptional experience our customers have come to know and expect.”

The Werner Duluth branch is a full-service branch offering an attractive retail space, inventory of critical products & supplies (Rockwell Automation & Allen-Bradley products are not sold or distributed at this Werner branch), project staging, and multiple convenient delivery options. Cory Nummela, Branch Manager and life-long Moose Lake resident, brings his 29 years of industry experience to lead a talented team of established Werner folks and some new faces who are ready to help customers on Day 1.

Werner veteran, Marty Hedlund, Director of Business Development, reflected: “Werner values partnership and relationships. It is core to our culture. That requires building trust and delivering something special. This area has seen a lot of growth in commercial and industrial construction. We have the knowledge, expertise and capabilities to deliver that something special contractors and businesses are looking for.”
