COTTAGE GROVE, Minn. — Ryan Butterfield joined Werner Electric last September as Director of Energy Services and Solutions. Butterfield comes to Werner from NextEra Energy, a global generator of wind and solar power. Butterfield has led teams responsible for designing energy solutions tailored to the customer’s needs for sustainability, resiliency and costs. He brings with him deep expertise of the energy industry and markets, including the rapidly-growing combined solar and energy storage systems.
Accompanying the announcement, John Farrell, VP Sales and Marketing, said, “Werner is very excited to have Ryan on our team. Ryan brings over 15 years of experience in the energy industry. Butterfield and his wife Shanda have three active kids: Roman, Lucas, and Allie. The family enjoys time together, and Ryan is an avid golfer, bowler and tennis player.
