Werner Electric Welcomes New VP of Sales & Marketing

COTTAGE GROVE, Minn. — Werner Electric welcomes Mike Hermann as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, effective June 29. Hermann will assume responsibilities for overseeing talented teams in Industrial Automation, Construction, Energy, Services and Marketing. Hermann’s expertise as a strategic leader and understanding of distribution and sales will be an asset as Werner continues to grow its product and services portfolio. Hermann is making this transition following a prosperous 20-year career with Rockwell Automation in sales, channel, and product strategy, as well as his most recent role in the Channel Access team developing distributor and partner programs.

Werner Electric President, Ben Granley enthusiastically stated, “Mike brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to our company but specifically, his strengths in having a clear vision for the future, strong understanding of our distribution world and fostering relationships make him an outstanding addition to our already strong team.”

Hermann is looking forward to joining the Werner team and contributing in a new capacity. “Werner is doing more than a couple things right. The people, the culture, commitment to the community and to their customers make it a wonderful place to work.” He is excited about working with the Business, Sales, and Marketing teams on further understanding the customers’ and future customers’ businesses delivering on the Werner purpose of providing an exceptional customer experience.

Hermann and his family are making the move from Milwaukee to Minnesota and are excited for the change. His wife, Lori, has worked for General Mills for 18 years and welcomes a shorter commute. They love everything outdoors, including Hermann’s love for smoking foods of all kinds. And kids, Thomas (12), Anna (10), and Zoe (8) will be able to take advantage of all the great hiking, biking, golfing, skiing, and sports that their new community has to offer.

Fun Fact: It is rumored that he has promised the kids a dog when the move is complete.
