DAYTON, Ohio — WinWholesale has selected Encore Wire Corporation as its 2013 electrical vendor of the year. Kyle Carter and Nate Pike accepted the award for Encore at WinWholesale’s Annual Meetings and Vendor Showcase Awards Dinner March 18 at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas.
Encore Wire supplies products to WinWholesale local companies representing the Winlectric, Winnelson, Winsupply and Noland Company brands.
“Encore Wire’s one-stop sourcing for all our residential and commercial wire needs, plus their concerted efforts in working with our locations to exceed our customers’ expectations every day, meant continued sales growth.” said Jack Johnston, WinWholesale president. “The result was that our sales of Encore products were up significantly last year.”
Monte Salsman, WinWholesale chief operating officer, and Eddie Gibbs, vice president, vendor relations, presented the award at a dinner attended by 1,200 Win Group people and vendor representatives. The dinner also honored Win Group companies for their 2013 achievements in addition to individuals receiving special recognition.
Other Vendor of the Year Awards were presented in the plumbing, industrial, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, water works, irrigation and tools categories.
About 190 vendors supplying products to the Win Group of Companies participated in the six-hour vendor showcase March 18. Vendors displayed products and talked with representatives from Win Group locations at the showcase and in scheduled one-on-one meetings.
