Womack Electric Supply To Host First-Ever Womack University Training Event

Womack University, a new training initiative from Womack Electric Supply, is getting underway with Certified Business Pros, a new series of training events kicking off on Friday, October 24, 2014, at its Greensboro, North Carolina, branch. Womack University’s Certified Business Pros is a free, one-day, educational event that is designed especially for the business owners and managers of electrical contracting businesses. Experts will present on everything from the creation of employee handbooks to the development of profitable hourly rates at this year’s event, and participants can earn continuing education hours for attending. Womack University’s Certified Business Pros will also feature a product showcase from Eaton and Cooper Lighting, the event’s sponsors. Subsequently, Womack Electric Supply will host the event at three more of its branches in November: Greenville, North Carolina, on November 11; Danville, Virginia, on November 12; and at its Central Distribution Center in Youngsville, North Carolina, on November 13. More details on Womack University’s Certified Business Pros can be found at www.womackelectric.com/CBP.

In addition to the vendor showcase, Womack University’s Certified Business Pros event in Greensboro will also include a regional qualifier for the Broan-NuTone ULTRA Pro Challenge. This contest is a nationwide competition among contractors to install an ULTRA Pro universal ventilation fan in the fastest time. Top competitors from each event will win a $500 Cabela’s gift card, and the top competitors from the contest’s eight regions will win all-expense-paid trips to the 2015 International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas to compete for a chance to win a 2015 Ford F-150 truck. More details on the Broan-NuTone ULTRA Pro Challenge can be found at www.broan.com/ultra-challenge.
