Survey results from the week of March 23:
For 75% of participants, it’s too soon to tell of the financial impact of COVID-19, but most are concerned about a potential global recession. All respondents have implemented some combination of operational measures, including employees working from home (if they can) and using video/phone conferencing for all meetings. In addition, half of participants noted that they closed their warehouse to non-essential employees. Only 25% of participants have hired a professional cleaning company after hours.
For their customers, 42% asked that orders be placed ahead of time for curbside delivery, while 50% noted that it was too soon to know if their e-commerce business had grown during this time period.
