The National Association of Electrical Distributors’ Women In Industry committee and annual conference has helped create an environment that changed how women viewed the potential opportunities they had in this industry, and developed new leaders who are bringing their ideas and energy to companies throughout our supply chain.
The NAED Women in Industry Trailblazer Award is given to a woman who has had an exceptional career in distribution and has had a positive impact on supporting women in the electrical distribution industry. The award is based on cumulative contributions and will be given at the discretion of the NAED Awards Committee.
Previous winners include Nancy Geodecke of Mayer, Sandy Rosecrans of City Electric Company, Kathy Mazzarella of Graybar, Tammy Livers of Sonepar, Tammy Miller of Border States, and Liz O’Grady of ABB. Last year’s winner, Jayne Millard of Turtle & Hughes, accepted her award during NAED’s virtual Women In Industry Conference.
To nominate someone for the 2021 Trailblazer Award, you can go to www.tedmag.com/trailblazer. All nominations must be submitted through the portal on that web page, and will be accepted until March 12, 2021.
