Viking Electric, a Sonepar Company, recently announced the re-opening of its expanded Solutions Center in its Milwaukee location.
Though the center has been providing light-duty modification and assembly services for more than 20 years, the team was working in a small 15′ x 25’ room and many of these services were done by hand.
In early 2020, Viking Electric expanded its Milwaukee facility by adding 12,800 square feet to its existing warehouse. The expansion included the construction of a new 5,000-square-foot Solutions Center that allows space for additional machinery, as well as allowing the company to dedicate more staff, improve automation, adopt new technologies, and expand its assembly and modification service capabilities.
Due to the pandemic, however, the center did not have a chance to fully open. It is now ramped up to begin promoting these increased capabilities.
The Solutions Center employs full-time associates dedicated to modification and assembly services. Some offerings include:
- Enclosure Modifications (Steinhauer machine)
- Load Center and Panelboard Modifications and Assemblies
- Circuit Breaker Modifications
- Assemblies
- Wire Processing
- Custom Shearing, Wire Duct, and Cover Cutting
