At a rally in North Dakota on Wednesday, September 6, President Trump outlined his four talking points for his new tax plan. Congress is back in session this week debating Hurricane Harvey relief and the debt limit, which will “clear the deck” for tax restructuring.
At the rally, President Trump called the Estate Tax, “a tremendous burden for small businesses and businesses that aren't necessarily liquid, but they're great businesses.” NAED has worked for an Estate Tax repeal for a number of years.
