Graybar named one of country’s top workplaces

Graybar announced today that the company has been named one of America’s Top Workplaces by WorkplaceDynamics. Graybar ranked No. 119 nationwide among 872 organizations of 1000 or more employees.

The National Top Workplaces list was determined solely by feedback gathered through an objective employee survey. The survey uses a set of 22 questions to rank companies. The survey data showed that employees most want to work at companies with high levels of organizational health. Companies that set a clear direction for their future, execute well and bring real meaning to work are considered “healthiest.”

“We are pleased with this award for many reasons, but especially because it demonstrates that our employees are proud of working for Graybar,” said Graybar Senior Vice President, Human Resources Beverly Propst. “As an employee-owned company, Graybar strives to create an environment where employees can grow and prosper while using their skills to contribute to the company’s success and to advance their own career opportunities. Furthermore, Graybar’s customers benefit from working with employees who are fulfilled, knowledgeable and dedicated.”
