Cancún, QR – From March 21 to 23, AD Mexico members and suppliers strengthened partnerships and discussed new avenues for growth during the 2023 AD Mexico Spring Network Meeting.
The AD Mexico community took part in member and supplier business meetings providing divisional updates and collaborated on business opportunities in the meeting’s new formal booth appointments. Members also worked together in network meeting sessions to discuss best practices, ways to enhance partnership, and strategies for growth.
“At AD, we are committed to maximizing the membership of both members and suppliers, and we are convinced that our member and supplier engagement strategy will improve the ways of doing business with each other, showing how Together, We Win,” said Juan Carlos Zacarías, Vice President, AD Mexico. “The collaborative sessions facilitated meaningful conversations and results that will help our community continue to thrive this year.”
During the supplier roundtable session and new supplier strategy session, AD Mexico suppliers connected in small groups on ways to maximize programs and partnerships with AD.
Partnership shines with new committees
Both formed in 2022, the division’s Supplier Advisory Council and Product Committee convened for the first time at a Spring Network Meeting. The Supplier Advisory Council works together to provide guidance on industry trends and explore new opportunities for the division.
“The AD Mexico team does a great job supporting their supplier partners and planning meaningful networking opportunities,” said Helio Estévez, VP of Sales and Marketing, Estévez S.A. de C.V. “On the Supplier Advisory Council, we can provide additional insights on our business and challenges we face, representing our division to voice what our members and suppliers may need to run their businesses in the most successful way possible.”
The AD Mexico Product Committee reviews and approves new and current suppliers to ensure AD’s mission and top-tier standards are met. Both new AD Mexico governance groups have been instrumental in the division’s recent success and will support the AD Mexico’s direction moving forward.
“The Product Committee’s first year was a huge success for AD Mexico,” said Alfonso Perez, CEO of VARIELEC. “As our division grows, increased leadership and participation from members and suppliers will bring more value to our community. AD has a track record of supporting the best-of-the-best in their industries, and we are committed to continuing that track record for AD Mexico.”
During the meeting, the Industrial & Safety Mexican Steering Committee was created to establish membership growth, operational excellence, program development and relationship building to support continued growth in this market.
AD Mexico celebrates board achievements
During the Spring Network Meeting, AD Mexico celebrated Ramiro Rocha, Director Comercial, Elektron del Bajio, for his seven years of service on the AD Mexico Board, helping guide the division and support AD leadership.
“Ramiro has been an outspoken supporter and advocate for AD, and his Board service has been influential in the division’s incredible success,” said Luis Carlos Garza, CEO, ABSA. “We thank Ramiro for his years of contributions to AD and appreciate his ongoing commitment to the success of the AD Mexico community.”
New to this year’s meeting, AD Mexico’s boards and committees all came together for a leadership dinner, another opportunity for the division’s leaders to share ideas for the division’s future.
