AD Releases Affiliates’ 2nd Quarter Results

Sales for AD Affiliates, across all AD Divisions, grew by 5% to $14 Billion in the First Half of 2013.

AD U.S. Electrical Member sales grew 2% in the first half of 2013, on a same-store basis to $5.97 billion.

John Eggleton, AD’s President of the U.S. Electrical Division commented, “The second quarter of 2013 continued to reflect guarded optimism by our membership, with same-store purchases up 2%, while much of the industry remained flat.  Even in a slow economic year, as is expected for 2013, AD members will continue to increase market share as well as experience net distributions as a percentage of Supplier rebates over 100%.”

Doing their part for the economy, AD Affiliates hired 2,973 new employees and opened 105 new locations, in just the last three months.
