Atlantic Coast Electric Supply Hosts Two Major Industry Events

CONCORD, N.C. — Atlantic Coast Electric Supply (ACES) successfully hosted two major industry events on February 18, 2026, at the Concord Convention Center: the NFPA 2023 NEC Changes Seminar, led by Brian House of Mike Holt Enterprises, and the debut of the ACES G.R.I.D. EXPO (Gathering for Resources, Innovation, and Demos).

The full-day NFPA 2023 NEC Changes Seminar brought together contractors, electricians, apprentices, inspectors, and industry professionals for in-depth education on critical updates to the National Electrical Code. Topics included GFCI and AFCI protection changes, surge protection requirements, energy management systems, EV charging installations, and evolving wiring methods, all with direct application to real-world job sites.

Attendees were eligible to earn CEUs in North & South Carolina while gaining practical insight into how the 2023 NEC is being interpreted and enforced in the field. Nick C. commented, “Very knowledgeable; the presenter was referencing the code off the top of his head. He had an answer for every question.”

Following the seminar, professionals transitioned into the ACES G.R.I.D. EXPO, a high-energy, hands-on trade show experience. The EXPO floor featured interactive exhibits, live product demonstrations, networking opportunities, prize giveaways, The G.R.I.D. Yard with solutions-focused booths, and a standout feature: The Current Collection Show.

Designed as a runway-style showcase, The Current Collection brought nine exhibitors to the stage to spotlight featured products in a dynamic format. Products were presented live for the crowd and displayed on large screens, giving attendees a front-row view of solutions driving today’s electrical industry. It was a creative and engaging way to make electrical products not just practical, but fun.

Throughout the EXPO, vendors showcased solutions focused on efficiency, safety, and innovation, giving attendees direct access to manufacturers and subject matter experts. G.R.I.D. EXPO attendee Jeremy W. commented, “The place was buzzing with excitement and enthusiasm over all the new buildouts going on, especially in the AI, Electrical Infrastructure, and Data Center spaces.”

ACES partnered once again with Mike Holt Enterprises to deliver trusted, high-level NEC education while expanding the experience through the launch of the G.R.I.D. EXPO, reinforcing its commitment to professional development, innovation, and industry connection.

The combined events provided a full day of education, engagement, and practical value for the electrical community. “We’re incredibly grateful for the support of all exhibitors, and it was exciting to see so many new faces at our first major event in the Charlotte region. A heartfelt thank‑you to everyone who took time from their day to join us—and to our fantastic emcee, Allison Rose, for bringing such great energy to the day.”
