Be on PAR in 2022!

This February 22-April 22, don’t miss the opportunity to participate in the 2022 PAR and Warehouse Operations Surveys — NAED’s “superstar of benchmarking.”

Now that we have reached March, it’s time to start working on your PAR Benchmarking report for 2022.

Open through April 22, NAED’s long-standing PAR Survey and new Warehouse Operations Survey offer participating distributors an invaluable opportunity to share their data, assess their performance against that of similar companies in our industry, and identify areas for improvement.

Hundreds of distributors have taken part in the confidential surveys over the years and are able to capitalize on such benefits as:

  • Invaluable Benchmarking Opportunities – Compare your company’s 2021 financial and operations performance against electrical distributors as a whole or by such subsets as sales volume, customer segment, warehouse sales, region, number of branches/locations, overall best-in-class, and more across a broad range of measures.
  • Easy-to-Use Analysis – The PAR Report’s user-friendly charts and graphs help visually display your “report card” and clearly identify areas of relative strength and weakness versus your peers.
  • Highly Accessible Results – All companies participating in the survey have the option to receive their confidential Company Performance Report (CPR) and access personalized, interactive tools through the NAED Research Portal (NAEDPARReport.com). After completing the survey(s) by April 22nd, a preliminary report will be available in mid-May and the full report will be published in late June.  Distributors who participate in both the original PAR Survey (Finance and Operations) and the new Warehouse Operations PAR Survey will receive the 100-page Executive Summary for free!

New for 2022!

Introduced for the first time last year, NAED’s new Warehouse Operations PAR Survey offers invaluable insights into warehouse operations, including lines picked per day, fill rate, average value per order, inventory accuracy, number of deliveries per day, backorders/supplier lead times, services offered (wire-cutting, etc.), and much more!  This year, NAED is also offering a free, user-friendly 90-minute support session to help distributors complete their PAR survey(s) if they opt for the exclusive reporting option.

“PAR really helps you understand if the decisions and investments you make and your strategic execution actually move the needle where it matters relative to your competition,” confirmed longtime PAR participant Wes Smith, president at Birmingham, AL-based Mayer.

“The detailed PAR report provides the opportunity for thorough benchmarking against your peers and the results are worth the investment required to complete the survey,” agreed Paul Kennedy, CEO of Plymouth, MN-based Dakota Supply Group.

Given all of the twists, turns, and challenges associated with today’s pandemic-fueled business environment, you can’t afford not to use every analytical tool at your disposal, and the more distributors that participate, the richer the data will be overall.  So don’t miss the opportunity to participate in NAED’s “superstar of benchmarking” and get access to important insights about your firm’s unique financial performance and operations.
