Bill Elliott Wins Rare Jersey at Robroy Industries NAED Dessert

Bill Russell – who as a basketball player for the Boston Celtics won 11 championship rings (more than any other professional in the history of the game) – is an American icon representing winning and success. Mr. Russell was a special guest at the recent Robroy Industries Annual NAED Dessert Reception held in Boston during NAED’s annual national conference. Early in his career Mr. Russell made a personal decision not to sign public autographs. However, he did agree to provide Robroy Industries with a highly rare and valuable signed jersey for use as a raffle gift. The jersey was subsequently won by Bill Elliott, Elliott Electric Supply, in a drawing made by Mr. Russell.

As a thank you to Mr. Russell, Robroy Industries contributed to The Bill Russell Mentoring Grant Program: a nonprofit organization established to award grants to non-profits whose focus is to expand the reach and resources for quality youth mentoring in the city of Boston.
