Border States Electric’s (BSE’s) Willmar, Minn., location became a control member of Schneider Electric’s Automation and Control Excellence (ACE) program. As an ACE member, they belong to an exclusive group of Schneider Electric distributors committed to training experts and maintaining inventory that industrial end users and machine building original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) require.
As a benefit for joining the ACE program, employees are provided training opportunities. Through the training opportunities, Erik Rannetsberger, Customer Service Representative, completed the requirements and became a certified control expert. Erik started his career with Minnesota Electric Supply in 2003 as a part-time warehouse associate. He joined BSE in 2007 after the company acquired Minnesota Electric Supply.
“The ACE program opens the Willmar location to new customers and inventory to help support the growth of the automation and control market. Becoming a control expert was a natural progression to better serve our customers,” said Rannetsberger.
