Border States Electric to close 2 branches in Texas

According to Border States Electric (BSE), the company, is “consolidating resources.”

BSE says it will close its McAllen and Weslaco branches on January 26.

The company says that closing the two branches will increase the number of employees and amount of inventory at BSE’s locations in Brownsville, Edinburg and Harlingen, Texas.

“We believe consolidating resources in Brownsville, Edinburg, and Harlingen will allow us to better serve our customers and expand our service offering in the Rio Grande Valley,” said Tammy Miller, CEO.
