Border States Electric wins ADDY Award for second straight year

For the second year in a row, Border States Electric (BSE) has received an ADDY Award from the American Advertising Foundation of North Dakota (AAF-ND).

According to PrairieBizmag.com, the awards were “a gold award in the direct marketing category for a hand and nose warmer mug and a silver award for the company’s 2011–2012 winter safety catalog.”

“We work with our vendors to produce the best materials for our customers. Winning ADDY awards are a tremendous accomplishment and reflect the dedication and creativity of our employee-owners,” said Michelle Keil, marketing communications manager for BSE. “We are honored to be recognized by a group that represents the best of the best in the advertising industry.“

The AAF’s ADDY Awards program is an annual event honoring excellence in advertising. According to AAF-ND website, “Each year, AdFed members from around the country enter more than 60,000 samples of their best work, making the ADDYs the world’s largest advertising competition.”

AAF-ND Gold ADDY winners go onto the 8th district competition. Gold winners from that competition then go on to the national finals.

Border States Electric is headquartered in Fargo, North Dakota, and has branches serving Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Wisconsin, Wyoming and portions of Idaho, Nebraska and Nevada. The company is 100 percent employee-owned.
