Butler Supply, Inc. has reached an agreement in principal to purchase Mt. Vernon Electric, located in Mt. Vernon IL.
Mt. Vernon Electric will retain the electric motor repair, sales and service, business. Butler Supply will be purchasing the electrical wholesale side of the business.
Mt. Vernon Electric was started in 1948 and has a strong reputation in the area. The branch will be managed by Todd Flota and his team of 5 full-time and 3 part-time associates. There is a mix of both industrial and contractor business. With the addition of Mt. Vernon it will allow Butler Supply to expand their service area in the Illinois market.
In 1941, founder C.E. Butler started Butler Supply with a simple philosophy: Provide customers with the finest products and customer service. Today Butler Supply remains a family owned business operated by the 3rd generation with the same proven fundamentals of its founder.
Butler Supply looks forward to joining the community of Mt. Vernon Illinois.
