EDISON, N.J. – Cuny & Guerber, Inc., a long-standing wholesale electrical and automation equipment supplier, announced that Bill Metz has joined its Sales team. Metz reunites with his longtime colleague Tom Vanko, Director of Power Distribution, from their early days together at Schneider Electric.
Metz brings extensive experience supporting major projects across the pharmaceutical, healthcare, data center, and industrial sectors. Working primarily with end-user clients, he collaborates closely with their engineering and construction management partners to ensure value is added at the earliest stages of complex projects. His approach focuses on understanding project requirements from the outset and delivering solutions that support safety, reliability, and operational continuity.
In addition to his project experience, Metz has collaborated on the development of innovative new products with Lavan Solutions, including ReliaSafe. The technology emphasizes safe switchgear and substation operation outside the arc-flash boundary, seamless auto-transfer capabilities, and real-time power monitoring—capabilities that align closely with the needs of the high-stakes environments Metz supports.
