Eaton Names Braun Director of Operations and Functional Excellence, Supply Chain Management

Cleveland – Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton has named William M. Braun director, Operations and Functional Excellence, Supply Chain Management, effective June 1. Braun will report to Pavan Pattada, senior vice president, Supply Chain Management, and will be located at Eaton Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

“Bill is a leader who brings a wide breadth of experience in global supply chain, strategic planning and operations to this role,” said Pattada. “He has a great track record of developing supply chain strategies, establishing global processes and delivering results.”

Braun joined Eaton in 1999 as director, Business Development and Strategic Planning, for the Truck Group. In 2002, he became plant manager for the Truck Group’s facility in Auburn, Indiana, and in 2004 became business unit manager within the group. Most recently, Braun served as director, Global Supply Chain Management, for the Vehicle Group. Prior to working at Eaton, he was senior associate for the operations management practice at Booz Allen & Hamilton.

Braun holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and an Executive Master of Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
