Eaton Recognized as a Top Company for Veterans

CLEVELAND – Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton was recently included among U.S. Veterans Magazine’s (USVM) Top Veteran-Friendly Companies. The list, which was compiled from market and independent research, polling of Fortune 1000 companies and diversity conference participation, provides valuable unbiased information to veterans seeking employment, education or entrepreneurial opportunities.

“Eaton values the service and contributions of our military personnel,” said Jeff Scolnick, Eaton’s vice president, global talent acquisition. “Their unmatched ethical standards and leadership skills are an extreme asset to our country and our workforce, and we hope that our recognition as a Top Veteran-Friendly Company will make more veterans and service members aware that Eaton is a great place to work.”

The annual evaluations help encourage corporations and government agencies to review their diversity policies and promote outreach to veterans.

“Our goal is to open doors for veterans and their families within corporate America and the federal government,” said Mona Lisa Faris, president and publisher, U.S. Veterans Magazine.

The full results of the study will be published in the summer issue of the U.S. Veterans Magazine, available on newsstands starting August 15, 2013. For more information about the annual Best of the Best survey or the U.S. Veterans Magazine, visit www.usveteransmagazine.com.
