Electrical Equipment Company (EECO), headquartered in Raleigh NC, has reached an agreement to acquire assets of Atlantic Control Products (ACP) of Summerville, SC. ACP is an electrical distributor with specialized services for industrial applications.
Jack Lawson, President and CEO of EECO, stated “The addition of Atlantic Control Products will enhance our core business in Industrial Automation and Motor Solutions throughout the Charleston to Columbia, SC market area.” ACP’s President, John Gaither also expressed enthusiasm about the breadth of both product and services that will be offered to customers.
Closing is planned for mid-December after which the combined business will operate from the EECO location at 7269 Cross Park Drive in North Charleston, SC.
