Gale joins Steren Electronics as director of engineering, product management

Steren Electronics International, manufacturer of voice, audio/video and data electronic solutions, announced that Vannin Gale has joined the company as director of engineering and product management.

“Vannin comes to Steren with over 30 years of design engineering and product management,” said Darren Rawson, president of Steren Electronics. “His expertise will be valuable in leading the way to new innovative product offerings as Steren prepares for significant growth in the coming years.”

Gale will manage a team of engineers and product managers and will have full responsibility for leading complex cross-functional product development projects for the CATV, SATV, Construction and Consumer Electronics markets.  

For the past five years, Gale served as engineering manager for Belkin where he led product design and development teams to engineer consumer products. Prior to Belkin, Gale held management positions with XtremeMac and Eclipse by Fujitsu-Ten. He is responsible for three patents and six pending patents, is the winner of three WCES Innovation awards, seven IASCA International car sound competitions, nine USAC dB-Drag car sound competitions and holds five world records for highest SPL. He has a Masters in Electrical Engineering and is a member of IEEE (Institute of Electrical Engineers), SMPTE (Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers) and AES (Audio Engineering Society).
