Graybar Accepts Best of the Best Award for Community Outreach

In June, tED magazine honored 23 different companies for their marketing efforts with the 2020 Best of the Best Marketing Awards. This year, a total of 50 entries earned awards.

Entries were judge in 10 categories: Brand Awareness, Video, Website, Event, Digital/Social Media, Literature/Selling Tool, Print Ad, Product Launch, Public Relations, and Integrated Promotional Campaign. Overall Best of the Best winners were also recognized.

Graybar, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, was named the winner of the Public Relations — Community Outreach award for distributors with more than $700 million in revenue. In celebration of its 150th anniversary, it launched a company-wide program that gave employees a paid work day to volunteer in local communities and introduced a matching gift program.

Since tED could not honor Graybar in person this year at our annual Adventure conference, Kathy Mazzarella, Chairman, President and CEO of the company, sent us a video of Graybar’s acceptance of the award.     I am so proud of our accomplishments in serving our communities and giving so generously. Our leadership sets great examples for us to follow and shares stories on a regular basis about what our employees are doing to help others all around the US.
