MILWAUKEE — IEWC announced the appointment of Mike Veum as OEM North America Division President and John Mellowes to its board of directors.
IEWC is pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Veum as OEM North America Division President. With over 20 years of progressive leadership experience, Mike brings a wealth of knowledge and business acumen to the role that will help ensure a successful future for IEWC.
Veum comes to IEWC from Brady Corporation where he most recently served as Vice President. During his tenure, Veum worked his way up through the sales organization beginning as a Sales Territory Manager. He has also held positions in acquisitions, integration and strategy development and as Vice President and General Manager for North America. In addition, Veum held the position of Vice President – Asia Pacific with responsibilities for profit and sales growth while on assignment in Shanghai, China.
Veum holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Marquette University. He is also a certified Six Sigma Practitioner and has continued his executive education at the University of Michigan.
Veum will assume his new position beginning Monday, April 25th, 2016 and will be working out of IEWC’s corporate office in New Berlin, Wisconsin. He will report directly to Jim Wojan, IEWC’s Chief Operating Officer.
IEWC has also announced the appointment of John Mellowes to its board of directors.
Mellowes currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Charter Manufacturing Company, Inc., a family-owned steel and iron production and manufacturing company consisting of four manufacturing businesses employing over 2,100 employees at fourteen locations in Wisconsin, Ohio, Illinois, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, China and the UK.

The addition of Mellowes to the board brings IEWC’s Board of Directors to nine including David Nestingen, Paul Bryant, Jeff Siemers, Jim Wojan, Mike O’Donnell, Tom Kammerait, John Nelson and Mark Reinemann.
In addition to being a member of the Charter Manufacturing Board of Directors, Mellowes also serves on the Board of Directors for the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee and the MMAC. He holds a BSE from Princeton University along with an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
