IRISS moves into new global headquarters

Florida based IRISS, a maker of industrial infrared
windows for electrical safety, has officially moved into it’s new global
headquarters in Manatee County. Wednesday’s move coincided with the first
annual Global Industry Day publicized in Manatee County.

Guests toured the 33,000 square foot facility which
features an executive conference room, state-of-the-art training room,
corporate offices & collaboration station, and a LEAN manufacturing
facility on a four acre, lakeside lot in Lakewood Ranch Corporate Park.

“IRISS is proud to have our new global
headquarters in Manatee County,” said Martin Robinson, CEO of IRISS. “IRISS IR
window technology can be found on electrical equipment around the world helping
protect people, profits, and equipment.”

“IRISS is a prime example of Manatee County’s
influence on global industry,” said Vanessa Baugh, Manatee County Commissioner
District 5.  “Global Industry Day is a great way to showcase what a large
impact manufacturing organizations in Manatee County has on a global scale
enhancing our economy and quality of life.”

IRISS executive conference and training rooms are
available to the public for rent. Additionally, their LEAN manufacturing
facility utilizes in-house rapid prototyping for their Custom Solutions IR
windows.  This service will be available for other businesses, promoting
innovation of new products within the local community.
