KE Electric Supply Dedicated to NAED EPEC Training

Mt. Clemens, Mich. – With 66 employees, K/E Electric Supply committed the last decade to extensive training of its staff. Building for the future, K/E Electric Supply saw the need to utilized NAED’s EPEC training program to raise the bar when educating its employees.

Eighteen of K/E Electric’s current employees are now EPEC Bronze graduates. The company has two EPEC Silver graduates, one EPEC Lighting graduate, and one EPEC Gold graduate. This fall and winter, K/E Electric Supply will advance eleven of its Bronze graduates into the Silver course and six new employees will begin the Bronze course. Holding group peer-to-peer meetings on the weekends, “Team K/E” has found mentoring as the solution to completing the difficult program. Facilitated by Rocky Kuchenmeister, the program has continued to be successful. The company starts annually in the fall, with most employees finishing their program by late spring.

K/E Electric Supply is the Metro Detroit electrical distributor synonymous with Customer Service. NAED’s EPEC training is a major component in preparing employees who provided high levels of service. The founder’s vision of the “old time distributor” with an emphasis on inventory breadth and depth, combined with strong service levels from “Team K/E” continues to this day. K/E Electric has four locations in southeast Michigan to better serve their customers.
