Five years ago, KNIPEX Tools LP (KTLP) launched a values-based culture for its employees with four core values: Knowledge, Teamwork, Loyalty, and Passion.
“It was important that these values be more than just a sign on the wall, so we made them central to how we do business on a daily basis by adding them as job expectations in position descriptions and by evaluating how well we model these values in our performance reviews,” Julie Day, Vice President of Human Resources, explained. She continued, “As the company has grown and we continue to add new employees, we purposefully look for new team members who share our values.”
