Lake Michigan Club Hosts Wrigley Field Event

Is there a better way to do business than in absolutely perfect weather for an August afternoon?  There is if you can manage to do it on a rooftop just beyond the left field wall at Wrigley Field.

NAED’s Lake Michigan club hosted nearly 80 manufacturers and distributors as the Cubs hosted the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday, August 16th.  The event was held at 1032 Waveland Avenue, which is just beyond the left field wall.
Most of the people who attended arrived about an hour before the first pitch, and were able to feast on Chicago favorites like Italian beef sandwiches and Chicago style hotdogs.  For nearly an hour, members of the Lake Michigan Club sat at tables to talk business and baseball.
But once 3:05pm arrived, the meeting moved outside to the bleachers, where members were able to soak in nothing but sunshine, a light breeze, and a Chicago Cubs 7-0 victory thanks to a 2 hitter by Jake Arrieta and two relievers.
If you need a barometer on the success of the event, many of the distributors and manufacturers who attended asked if they had to leave right away, or if they could stay away to talk and enjoy the day.  Keep in contact with NAED, because next year you really don’t want to miss an event like this.
